This rambling farmhouse was given a new lease of life focusing on the client’s love of entertaining, where of course the dining room had to take centre stage. The design grew from a hand-blocked silk fabric that the owner instantly fell in love with. From here we sourced and carefully upholstered 12 elegant dining chairs, together with antique sideboard, side tables and a specially commissioned bespoke silk rug. The pièce de résistance was an exquisite chandelier adding a touch of sophisticated glamour along with gilt reeded curtain poles and select pieces of art to complement the jewel-like colours.
